Injury Firm Finder is the sole database owner. Injury Lawyer Compass reads public firm fields through the mother API; this project does not store or receive the mother database credential.

Limited display fields
Profiles may display firm name, directory category or tags, public contact details, address, and geography. We do not infer attorney rosters, licenses, case results, specialization, fees, or availability.
Neutral ordering
Featured state and city selections use deterministic monthly rotation. The order can vary over time without becoming random on every page load. Ratings and review volume are not ranking factors here.
Independent verification
Every profile tells the reader to confirm credentials, current practice scope, conflicts, team, contact details, and written terms with the firm and appropriate licensing source.
Geographic layer
How locations are built
State and community pages combine API-supported firm geography with a maintained geography dataset. Major-place population references use U.S. Census Bureau Vintage 2025 material; Rhode Island includes towns and Hawaii uses designated-place data where the source requires that treatment.
A community page can describe research questions and directory geography, but it does not claim that every shown firm has a physical office there. Readers should verify service area, licensing, venue experience, travel, and remote-meeting arrangements.
Quality and removals
How data issues are handled
- Contact fields should be checked against authoritative public evidence when a discrepancy is reported.
- An unreachable website is treated as a verification signal, not proof that a firm permanently closed.
- Removal should be supported by reliable closure, licensing, business, or other evidence and leave an audit trail.
- Corrections to the mother dataset should occur at the mother source so all child directories receive the improvement.
